Sunday Night On-Camera Work

Two choices: Sunday or Monday night.
Time: 7pm to 10pm.
Limit: 6 actors per class.

Monthly On-Camera classes have become very popular. Class is by audition only. It's best to audition soon as you're interested. Class is $165 per month.

Private On-Camera Work

Limited number of actors receive private in person On-Camera training. On-Camera work is by audition only. And is $60 per 75-minute session. Skype Coaching by Request.

Private Stage Work

Limited number of actors receive private in person stage training. Private stage work is by audition only. And is $60 per per 75-minute session.

About Martin

One of the D.C. area's most sought-after acting coaches, Martin is known for his supportive teaching style and bag of tricks he calls "acting steroids." His students have worked at every major theater in the D.C.area. They've had TV roles (and recurring roles) on The Wire, Oz, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, House of Cards, Homicide: Life on the Street, Veep, Turn, Blindspot, Bones, How to Get Away with Murder, CSI, and The World Wars, as well as two-character scenes in Hollywood motion pictures with George Clooney, Alan Rickman, Julia Roberts, Richard Gere, and Daniel Day-Lewis.

Additionally, after private coaching, clients have been accepted to professional training programs including the MFA acting program at the Yale School of Drama, the USC Theatre program, the Atlantic Theater School, Circle in the Square Theater School, and the MFA program at the Shakespeare Theatre.

Martin served as Artistic Associate, American Place Theater in New York City, as well as Literary Manager, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, and Founding Artistic Director Theater J. He attended the University of Maryland and the Yale School of Drama.
